LONDON (Dow Jones)—Weekly mortgage applications rose for the first time in three weeks, the Mortgage Bankers Association said Wednesday. The Market Composite Index, a measure of mortgage loan application volume, was 421.6, an increase of 0.5% on a seasonally adjusted basis.
