A purple golf cart and a purple Chrysler Sebring parked in the driveway of Barbara and Len McCahill’s waterfront home in Barefoot Landing are the first clues this couple are crazy about the color purple.
More precisely, Barbara McCahill owns this obsession, but her dutiful and loving husband eventually learned to love it as well.
‘Green is my favorite color, but I’ve come to like it,’ Len said.
The McCahill home was about three years in the making – two years of design work and one year of construction – built by Brad Alexander of Majestic Homes and designed by Barbara, an interior designer, who ‘chose every detail from paint to plumbing.’ Read more
