Pier 1 Imports will test a bunch of new merchandise—and bring back some old favorites—this holiday season in an attempt to re-establish its niche in the increasingly competitive home-furnishings market.
Bath and body products, inexpensive jewelry and children’s toys are among the products that will be added to stores next month. Some of the items are on display like wrapped packages under a Christmas tree in the lobby of Pier 1’s headquarters in downtown Fort Worth.
