NEW YORK, May 25 (UPI)—Fixed mortgage rates in the United States last week edged up slightly to an average of 6.69 percent for a 30-year loan. Bankrate.com also said Thursday that the average 15-year fixed rate mortgage popular for refinancing inched higher to 6.31 percent.
