TORONTO (CP) – CIBC has lowered its longer term mortgage rates a tenth of a point because of lower borrowing costs in financial markets. The big Canadian bank said Tuesday its five-year closed housing loan falls to 5.95 per cent, while a seven-year term drops to 7.25 per cent.
