WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 (UPI)—U.S. mortgage applications fell 5.7 percent last week, an industry group reported Wednesday. The Mortgage Bankers Association said its index of applications for the week ending Dec. 9 was 619.7, down from 656.7 the previous reporting period.
