Mortgage crisis could hit economy: Fed's Kroszner (Washington Post) SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Turmoil stemming from subprime mortgage delinquencies could dampen demand for homes and ultimately slow U.S. economic growth, Federal Reserve Governor Randall Kroszner said on Thursday.
