Briscoe fastest in Argent Mortgage practice (TSN)

SONOMA, Calif. (AP) – Rookie Ryan Briscoe posted the fastest time Friday in practice for Sunday’s Argent Mortgage Indy Grand Prix at Infineon Raceway. Briscoe, currently 15th in the IRL IndyCar Series point standings, averaged 108.130 mph around Infineon’s 12-turn, 2.26-mile course.
